Located on 4 acres in the heart of the Village of Ellsworth, on the west shore of Ellsworth Lake, part of the Chain O’ Lakes. The Park, which is build on the former IDC industrial site, was completed October 1, 2009 with the help of a NRTF Grant. It features Michigan’s largest outdoor public Archery Range home of the annual Archery Tournament, a pavilion, restrooms/multipurpose building, playground area, fishing pier, boat dock, walking paths/observation deck, Labyrinth, and sledding hill.The pavilion is a 50’ X 80’ structure that can be used for roller blading, ice skating, and social gatherings. The pathway is 1.3 miles in length with an observation deck extending into Ellsworth Lake. The Labyrinth is one of, if not the largest, Labyrinth in the Northern Midwest.

At 100 Women Who Care Antrim County, we strive to improve the lives of underprivileged children by providing them with education, food, and shelter. Our aim is to break the cycle of poverty and give these children a chance at a better future.

Visitors here can enjoy a universal access trail (the Mary Behrens Sorrell Trail) that allows people of all ages and abilities to access and appreciate this natural wonder. The preserve encompasses a one-mile stretch of undeveloped shoreline that is excellent for canoeing and kayaking. The natural area has a small parking area and a rustic canoe/kayak launch.
